Growing up a military brat, my management philosophy was shaped many years ago. When I read the comments of a General who managed troops, this became my model:
- Manage things…lead people.
- Be competent and demonstrate good personal conduct.
- Have a good work ethic, but retain a sense of life balance.
- Be aggressive and at the same time collegial.
- Demonstrate both initiative and proactivity.
- Develop sales partners, support their efforts and build winning teams.
- Have a can-do attitude and manage, not avoid risk.
As a coach and mentor in promotional product consulting, I help those with whom I work, acheive their personal and professional goals.
